fans expect legendary commercials from their favorite brands. Every year, companies spend millions of dollars for a small amount of commercial time to advertise their product. These commercials range in from funny to serious, feature some of America’s biggest celebrities, and are often talked about years after they air. Some of the most iconic commercials include those from Doritos, Snickers, Skittles, and Budweiser.

This year Gabrielle Geromin, junior, enjoyed watching both the game and the commercials in between. She said while she likes the comical commercials she looks forward to the Budweiser Clydesdales advertisements every year. Her favorite commercial this year was the “Not So Pee Wee Football” Buick commercial featuring football star Cam Newton and Australian model Miranda Kerr.

Additionally, Geromin said her favorite commercial of all-time was the “Doberhuahua” ad for Audi because “It’s just so funny.”

Emily Wrobel, senior, said, “I usually just watch the super bowl for the funny commercials.” Some of her favorites this year include Justin Bieber’s T-Mobile commercial and Justin Timberlake’s “Bai Bai” commercial.

Although she enjoyed them she said, “To me they weren’t as funny this year as they usually are.” Some of her favorite super bowl commercials of all time include the Snickers ad with Betty White and the “Don’t Touch My Momma” Doritos ad from 2010.

These are just some of the great commercials released throughout super bowl history and America is anxiously awaiting the new commercials for 2018.
